The 24-year-old Brazilian left-footed centre-back has emerged as a primary target for clubs seeking to strengthen their defensive lines. Manchester United is considering Murillo as part of a defensive reinforcement strategy, specifically as a potential replacement for Lisandro Martínez, who faces ongoing fitness concerns and is entering the final year of his contract. Liverpool continues to view him as a potential long-term successor to Virgil van Dijk, while Chelsea remains interested in addressing its defensive needs. Nottingham Forest has maintained its stance that the player is not available for transfer in the upcoming January window. The club is in a strong negotiating position, as Murillo is under contract until 2030 and the club is under no financial pressure to sell.
