Crystal Palace defender Tyrick Mitchell has emerged as a significant transfer target for several major European clubs. As the 27-year-old England international enters the final stages of his contract, clubs may be able to pursue him for a reduced fee in the January transfer window or as a free agent.

Manchester United has intensified its monitoring of the left-back to provide depth for a position currently occupied by Luke Shaw, who has faced ongoing fitness and injury concerns. Under manager Michael Carrick, United is expected to assess the position during the January window to secure a more durable option. Mitchell is reportedly “extremely keen” on a move to Old Trafford.

Interest in Mitchell has expanded to include Liverpool, Chelsea, and Juventus. Liverpool is reportedly looking to add competition to their left-back position, while Juventus is considering a move to address defensive issues involving Andrea Cambiaso and Juan Cabal.

Recent reports indicate that with Mitchell’s contract set to expire in 2027, Crystal Palace may consider a sale as early as January for an estimated fee between £20 million and £30 million. Manchester United remains a leading contender for his signature, though Juventus continues to monitor the situation to bolster their left flank.

As Mitchell enters the final year of his contract, Juventus is reportedly preparing an offer ahead of the January window. While no formal offers have been submitted yet, interested clubs are assessing his situation. In response to the interest, Crystal Palace is working to accelerate contract negotiations to retain the player.
