The ZDF series ‘Wake up’ is scheduled to premiere, serving as the final production featuring actress Luna Jordan, who passed away in May at age 25. The six-part drama will honor her in the credits.

The plot centers on two sisters, Clara and Emilia. Following a skiing accident that leaves Clara in a coma for two years, a scientific study involving nanobots leads to an unplanned consciousness transfer between a researcher, Hevi Abdel-Nansen, and Emilia. This anomaly creates a controversial way for the sisters to connect.

Streaming on ZDF begins October 23, with linear broadcasts on ZDFneo starting October 28.
