Local governments in Croatia are advancing preschool infrastructure projects through various funding mechanisms.

In Popovača, the city signed an 8,037,995.36 euro contract with Kapitel to finish a new kindergarten on Kolodvorska Street. This project, partially funded by EU resources, follows the termination of a previous contract due to a former contractor’s financial issues. The facility is expected to accommodate approximately 300 children.

In the Kapela Municipality, the Veseli Planet kindergarten has opened in Novi Skucani. Funded by the Republic of Croatia’s Rural Development Program 2014–2020, the nearly one million euro facility provides capacity for 72 children and is expected to create 16 new jobs.
