Efforts to preserve and teach tezhip, a traditional Turkish illumination art, are being carried out through individual instruction and academic workshops.

In Malatya, artist Mustafa Türker has spent 25 years practicing and teaching the craft, emphasizing that the discipline requires manual precision and patience that cannot be replicated by digital tools. He has worked as an instructor in various districts since 2011 to pass the art form to future generations.

Complementing these individual efforts, Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University hosted a workshop supported by Türk Altın to introduce students to the intricacies of the art, including gold leafing techniques. This initiative aims to connect younger generations with traditional cultural techniques.
