In Buenos Aires, the festival is set for November 28 and 29 at the Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires, featuring a lineup that includes Gorillaz, The Strokes, FKA twigs, Lily Allen, and Courtney Barnett. This expansion occurs amidst broader industry debates regarding the legal tensions between residents' rights to quiet and the constitutional rights to cultural access and artistic creation. In São Paulo, the festival will take place on December 5 and 6 at the Autódromo de Interlagos. The organizers have announced an exclusive lineup for the Brazilian edition, featuring artists such as The Strokes, Gorillaz, Lily Allen, Courtney Barnett, Cara Delevingne, Arca, and Yung Lean, who will not be performing other shows in the country during that period. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-28: Primavera Sound São Paulo announces exclusive 2026 lineup Primavera Sound São Paulo has announced its 2026 lineup, featuring exclusive Brazilian performances by artists including The Strokes, Gorillaz, and Lily Allen at the Autódromo de Interlagos. 5 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/primavera-sound-so-paulo-announces-exclusive-2026-lineup ### 2026-09-03: Primavera Sound expands to Buenos Aires as industry debates festival rights Primavera Sound prepares for its 2026 Buenos Aires edition featuring Gorillaz and The Strokes, amid industry debates regarding the legal balance between resident quietude and cultural rights. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/primavera-sound-expands-to-buenos-aires-as-industry-debates-festival-rights --- Cite as: Primavera Sound festival expansion in South America.
