Prime Video has announced “Fallout Shelter: The Experiment,” an unscripted reality competition series inspired by the Fallout video game and television franchise. Scheduled to debut on January 13, 2027, the show will feature contestants inside replica Vault-Tec bomb shelters facing survival drills, psychological dilemmas, and moral challenges. 

A single winner will receive a $1 million grand prize. The series is a co-production between Studio Lambert, Kilter Films, and Bethesda Game Studios, with Bethesda’s Todd Howard serving as an executive producer. The release strategy includes the first four episodes premiering on launch day, followed by weekly episodes through January 27, 2027.
