Prime Video has announced the release of ‘The Greatest’, an eight-episode authorized biographical series chronicling the life of Muhammad Ali. The series is scheduled to premiere on November 4, 2026, across more than 240 countries and territories.

Starring Jaalen Best as Cassius Clay, the production follows Ali’s journey from his youth in Louisville, Kentucky, through his 1960 Olympic gold medal win in Rome and his 1964 victory against Sonny Liston. The narrative intends to explore his professional boxing career alongside his personal, political, and religious struggles during a period of social change in the United States.

The series is executive produced by Lonnie Ali, the boxer’s widow, to ensure authenticity, alongside Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society and Roc Nation. The ensemble cast includes Omari Hardwick, Giovanni Ribisi, and Michael Ealy. Recent industry reports confirm the series is part of a diverse lineup of upcoming 2026 streaming content supported by the former heavyweight champion’s estate.
