Prince William recounted a humorous anecdote on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ regarding a backstage photograph taken during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in June 2024. The Prince of Wales explained that he had repeatedly attempted to move NFL player Travis Kelce out of the frame, as his original intention was to capture a photo featuring only himself, Swift, and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Travis Kelce later addressed the comments on the ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother, Jason Kelce. Kelce stated he understood the Prince’s reasoning, noting that at the time of the photo, he was simply Swift’s boyfriend and their long-term future was not yet established. Kelce joked that he hopes his marriage to Swift does not “go south,” as that would impact the quality of the royal family keepsake.

Jason Kelce contributed to the lighthearted exchange by presenting a digitally edited version of the original photo that removed Travis Kelce from the shot. Travis expressed amusement at the edit, suggesting it be sent to Buckingham Palace.
