Authorities in the Czech Republic have conducted separate searches for escaped individuals in October 2026.

On October 5, police launched a nationwide manhunt for 27-year-old Filip Flanier, who escaped from an unsupervised workplace in Poděbrady. Flanier, who was serving a sentence for obstructing an official decision and expulsion, was noted to have potential ties to the Pardubice region.

Later in the month, police in Louny reported that 32-year-old Jakub Krupka escaped from the Nové Sedlo prison. Krupka failed to return following a permitted leave. Authorities indicated he might be moving within the Louny district, though travel elsewhere in the country remains possible.
