The inaugural Procida Jazz Fest is scheduled to take place on the island of Procida from September 10 to 13, 2026. The event features twelve concerts across five locations, involving over fifty national and international artists performing various styles such as swing, bebop, and bossa nova.

In preparation for the festival, the ‘Fotografando Jazz’ exhibition by Francesco Truono opened at Palazzo d’Avalos on August 28. The exhibition showcases thirty images from twenty years of the photographer’s work with jazz figures including Chick Corea and James Brown, and is scheduled to remain open until September 20.

Promoted by the New Around Midnight and Napoli Jazz Club associations, the festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region. Local officials intend for the event to extend the local tourist season and integrate the island into the professional festival circuit.

On September 11, inclement weather involving rain and wind forced adjustments to the festival schedule. The Hakan Başar Trio concert, originally planned for sunset at Terra Murata, was moved to the main stage at Piazza Marina Grande. Furthermore, the opening performance by the Half Century Trio Orchestra, a local big band directed by Francesco Trio, was rescheduled to Sunday, September 13, at 12:30 PM. Despite these changes, the overall program remains intact, featuring performers such as Max Ionata, the Hammond Groovers 4et, and a grand finale tribute to Frank Sinatra by Gianluca Guidi and the Elio Coppola Trio.
