The post-apocalyptic action thriller ‘Parish’, written and directed by Adam Sigal, has moved from casting announcements to securing international distribution. Starring Nicolas Cage, Dane DeHaan, and Alexandra Shipp, the $20 million film is set thirty years after a nuclear war and follows a survivor who disrupts his isolation by sheltering a woman and infant.

During the Toronto International Film Festival, Concourse Media announced several international pre-sales. Distribution deals were secured with Wild Bunch for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; Energia for Latin America; and Eagle Pictures for Italy. Other licensing agreements include Falcon Films (Middle East), Tanweer (Greece), Noori Pictures (South Korea), Siyah Beyaz (Turkey), Dimension Pictures (India), and Paradise (CIS). Production is scheduled to begin in Minnesota during the week of September 21, with financing provided by Archetype Media Finance.
