Indonesian state-owned train manufacturer PT Industri Kereta Api (PT INKA) is fulfilling a contract to supply 340 Container Flat Top wagons to UGL Rail Service Pty Limited for use by KiwiRail in New Zealand.

By late August 2026, PT INKA had shipped 120 wagons, bringing the total delivered for this specific project to 250 units, or approximately 73.5 percent of the order. The remaining 90 units are scheduled for shipment in November 2026. This project is part of a long-term partnership, with PT INKA having delivered 1,294 out of 1,504 total units ordered by UGL since 2021.
