In September 2026, the city of Udine, Italy, hosted several distinct public events. The period began with the 26th International Udine City Half Marathon and a related health conference, ‘Physical activity and health: it is time to move,’ which featured Italian Health Minister Orazio Schillaci and the debut of the FIASO RUN championship.

Later in the month, the city held the 11th Arengo Contemporaneo civic assembly. This event, held at the Palazzo di Toppo Wassermann, allowed registered citizens to participate in direct democracy by proposing and voting on local initiatives, continuing a tradition revived in 2015.
