The province of Albacete has seen various allocations of public funding for cultural, healthcare, and municipal infrastructure projects.

In October 2026, the Diputación de Albacete approved nearly 280,000 euros in subsidies to promote performing arts and music, divided between 20 town councils and 25 cultural associations. Additionally, the Provincial Council approved 5.5 million euros through the ‘Dipualba Responde-Inversiones 2026’ program to support 145 projects across 62 municipalities, focusing on water sanitation, urban infrastructure, and municipal facilities.

Regarding regional funding, the Castilla-La Mancha government’s 2027 General Budget Project includes over 71.5 million euros in direct investments for the province to strengthen public services and combat rural depopulation. Healthcare infrastructure is the primary priority, representing approximately 38.5% of the total budget. 

Specifically, nearly 27.5 million euros are designated for the Albacete Hospital, which includes 12 million euros for Director Plan works, 8 million euros for the Expansion and Assembly Plan, and over 2.2 million euros for high technology. The Maternal-Child building is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027. Other healthcare allocations include nearly 3.6 million euros for the Madrigueras Health Center, alongside provisions for health centers in Almansa, Casas de Juan Núñez, Munera, Villamalea, Villarrobledo 2, La Gineta, and various primary care centers in Albacete.
