The Puerto Quequén Management Consortium has launched infrastructure initiatives in the Necochea district to mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall and flooding.

Initial efforts focused on the recovery of rural roads, specifically targeting areas like kilometer 40 of National Route 228, which had become impassable. These repairs involved earthmoving, cleaning culverts, and applying sand and gravel to restore transitability for the agricultural sector.

Following these road repairs, the Consortium expanded its scope to include port access improvements. This included the completion of the first stage of work on Almirante Brown Avenue, featuring the installation of high-power LED lighting to enhance security and visibility for port workers and drivers.
