Following directives from the Chief Minister of Punjab, the Director of Civil Defence Punjab has initiated a crackdown targeting corruption, malfeasance, and incompetence. 

The disciplinary actions have resulted in the dismissal of 12 employees and the suspension of 37 officers and staff members across various regions, including Sargodha, Multan, Gujranwala, and Lahore. The affected personnel include roles such as assistants, senior clerks, rescue leaders, and drivers. Additionally, seven officers have been transferred, and several instructors have been suspended. All suspended staff have been ordered to report to the Civil Defence Punjab Headquarters.
