Two pygmy goats, named ‘Billy the Kid’ and ‘Billy the Goat,’ escaped from an enclosure and boarded a TriMet FX2-Division bus during the Tuesday morning rush hour in Portland, Oregon.

Security footage showed the animals entering the vehicle near Southeast 162nd Avenue and Division Street. The bus operator and passengers assisted in ushering the goats off the bus and back onto the sidewalk. The goats were later reunited with their owner, Lrae Anderson, after a neighbor or passengers helped return them to their home.

Anderson, who lives near the bus stop, stated the escape occurred because a gate to the enclosure was left unsecured. He has since repaired the fencing and installed a lock to prevent future incidents.
