Qantas has implemented several changes to its loyalty program. Initially, the airline launched a major promotion for Frequent Flyer members, offering discounts of up to 30% on Classic Flight Reward point redemptions for domestic travel through September 2027.

Following this, the airline announced an overhaul of the program scheduled for December 8. This update allows members to earn status credits through retail spending with approximately 700 partners, rather than relying exclusively on flying. While this expands how members can earn credits, the changes also include an increase in the number of credits required to maintain existing membership tiers.
