Musician Rachel Chinouriri began her release cycle with the single ‘Broken chair’, a track featuring an arpeggiated synth line and a dance-floor ready beat. The single was written in Los Angeles with musician Lucy Dacus and served as a precursor to her upcoming second studio album.

On October 16, 2026, Chinouriri released the full 12-track album, ‘I think I spoke too soon’, via Atlas Artists and Parlophone Records. The project marks a stylistic shift toward more danceable elements compared to her previous alternative indie-pop sound, exploring themes of personal evolution, self-doubt, and forgiveness through the narrative lens of a single night.
