Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, conducted a high-level visit to China to strengthen economic, technological, and cultural ties. 

During a business summit in Shenzhen, the Ruler highlighted the presence of over 400 Chinese companies in Ras Al Khaimah and identified sectors for growth, including advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and logistics. He emphasized the emirate’s role as a strategic gateway to Middle Eastern, African, and European markets.

Following the summit, a six-day visit to Guangdong and Fujian provinces resulted in a Memorandum of Understanding with UBTECH Robotics to collaborate on the research and deployment of humanoid robotic systems. The visit also included academic engagements at Fuzhou University and explorations of China’s maritime history.
