Ravindra Jadeja remains a key figure in Indian cricket as he balances international and domestic commitments. Spin-bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule confirmed that the veteran all-rounder is still being considered for India’s 2027 ODI World Cup plans, citing his value as a utility player and recent improvements in his bowling.

Following his participation in India’s ODI series against the West Indies, Jadeja has been named in the Saurashtra squad for the Ranji Trophy 2026/27 season opener against Chhattisgarh. This domestic appearance is intended to help him regain red-ball rhythm ahead of India’s scheduled Test tour of New Zealand in November.
