Razer has announced the Prio, a foldable, ultra-portable gaming controller designed for mobile devices. The device is compatible with iPhone and Android smartphones with screens up to 7 inches and connects via USB-C, which eliminates the need for internal batteries or Bluetooth pairing.

A primary technical feature is the inclusion of capacitive analog sticks. Razer states these non-contact sensors are designed to reduce stick drift through high-resolution sensing. The controller also features face buttons, bumpers, and triggers equipped with quiet tactile switches intended for use in public spaces.

The Prio is scheduled for release on October 9 and supports local gaming as well as cloud streaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, and PS Remote Play.
