Real Betis is managing various player injuries and availability issues during a dense October schedule. Early in the month, the club reported that Bartra returned to partial training and Llorente recovered from muscular issues, though an injury to Junior forced manager Manuel Pellegrini to seek alternatives at left-back.

By late October, the squad faced additional challenges ahead of a match against Málaga. Colombian forward Cucho Hernández was sidelined with a left soleus injury, and Uruguayan midfielder Facundo Bernal was unavailable due to suspension. While winger Antony Dos Santos returned to training following a viral illness, Junior Firpo continued recovery from a muscular injury sustained with the Dominican Republic national team.

Tactical shifts have emerged during this period, including the use of Troy Parrott for offensive depth and the transition of Isco Alarcón from a substitute to a regular starter.
