In late August, the CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show concluded after attracting approximately 36,000 visitors. The event focused on RERA-approved residential and commercial projects, with discussions centered on how large-ticket land auctions and the growth of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) influence local property values. By September, the focus expanded to the international stage with the 7th International Real Estate Conference (IREC 2026) held in Hyderabad. This conference, involving delegates from over 35 countries, coincided with the release of the India Housing Report – September 2026. The report noted that while primary housing sales in India’s Tier-1 cities remained broadly flat compared to the previous year, a shift in market leadership occurred as the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) overtook the National Capital Region (NCR) to become the country’s largest housing market. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-25: IREC 2026 in Hyderabad marks first global real estate conference in India The IREC 2026 conference in Hyderabad launched alongside a new housing report showing the Mumbai Metropolitan Region has overtaken the NCR as India's largest residential housing market. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/irec-2026-in-hyderabad-marks-first-global-real-estate-conference-in-india ### 2026-08-31: Hyderabad Property Show 2026 concludes with high visitor engagement The CREDAI Hyderabad Property Show 2026 concluded with 36,000 visitors, highlighting strong market sentiment and discussing the impact of land auctions and workforce shifts on local real estate. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/hyderabad-property-show-2026-concludes-with-high-visitor-engagement --- Cite as: Real estate industry developments in India.
