Following his retirement in the summer of 2026, former Real Oviedo player Santi Cazorla attended the Asturian derby as a supporter, engaging directly with fans to strengthen the connection between the club and its community.

By late October, attention shifted to his son, 16-year-old Enzo Cazorla. A key player for the club’s reserve team, Enzo participated in his first training session with the Real Oviedo first team, potentially qualifying for inclusion in the squad for the upcoming Copa del Rey match against Numancia.
