In September 2026, writer Julia Navarro announced the upcoming release of her novel ‘Una familia moderna’, scheduled for Spanish bookstores on September 15. The work is described as her most contemporary novel, focusing on identity and the social, political, and technological changes of the modern world through the lens of three generations of a family.

By October 2026, literary reports highlighted Navarro’s work alongside the release of José Manuel Benítez Ariza’s ‘Biografía imperfecta’, a collection of poetic work spanning from 1986 to 2025. Navarro’s novel continues to be noted for its exploration of the generational divide and the shifting social dynamics regarding respect for the elderly in modern Spanish society.
