My Khe Beach in Quang Ngai province has been recognized by the international travel guide Lonely Planet as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. 

The 7 km long beach is noted for its pristine nature, characterized by shallow waters, a gentle seabed, and a landscape where the sea meets the Kinh Giang River. Because of its white sand and gradual seabed slope, writer James Pham has designated the location as the ‘best beach for families’. The area is further distinguished by its peaceful atmosphere, lack of high-rise obstructions, and a traditional near-shore fishing culture that has existed for nearly 200 years.
