Police in Reggio Emilia have arrested two suspects, aged 20 and 21, following a series of robberies involving the use of vehicles as battering rams. 

The most recent attack targeted a post office in Rubiera, where a Fiat 500L was used to crash through the entrance. This followed a failed attempt to rob another post office on via Beethoven in Reggio Emilia. During a pursuit near the Cappelletto roundabout, authorities intercepted a vehicle containing a stolen safe. Witnesses reported hearing sounds “resembling gunfire” during the chase as the suspects attempted to flee toward Modena.
