Regional basketball competitions and the ABA League have commenced with several notable performances.

Studio Zagreb secured a 75-70 victory over Rilski Sportist, overcoming a late comeback attempt to win behind strong individual performances from Blaža Čeh and Enya Saoirse Maguire. In the ABA League, the defending champions Dubai Basketball won their title defense against Slovenia’s Perpektiva Ilirija with a score of 85-70.

KK Zadar also began its season with three victories, including a 79:65 win over Studentski Centar in the ABA League. While the team has displayed a fast, dynamic style of play, analysts have noted defensive vulnerabilities, particularly regarding interior defense and transition play.
