Various regional cultural, digital, and community events have been held across Vietnam. In October 2026, activities included culinary competitions and traditional festivals in Lào Cai, such as the ‘Lào Chải Indigo Color’ festival, and agricultural festivals in Sơn La to showcase ethnic traditions. Urban areas also hosted events like Digital Citizen Day in Chợ Lớn and sports festivals in Hà Nội.

By November 2026, focus shifted toward sporting events in Gia Lai and Dak Lak provinces. Gia Lai hosted a minority ethnic sports tournament featuring stick pushing and tug-of-war as part of the Gong Festival. In Dak Lak, a large cross-country running race was organized to promote tobacco control awareness and healthy lifestyles.
