Regional summits in Mexico have focused on addressing economic and social development through local engagement. In southern Sonora, the Cajeme Business Center Summit gathered leaders and entrepreneurs in Ciudad Obregón to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Key initiatives included the ‘Reto Emprendedor’ competition and the ‘Conecta Red’ networking event to link large companies with local suppliers.

Following this, the Gran Alianza Ciudadana por Sinaloa organized the ‘Gran Encuentro Ciudadano’ in Sinaloa. This meeting brought together a broad range of participants, including business leaders, youth, and political actors, to analyze state-wide challenges. The summit emphasized the necessity of civic engagement and professionalization to propose civil society-led solutions for economic stimulation.
