Various regional employment and industry fairs are being organized across several countries to support job seekers and local commerce.

In early October, Costa Rica, Chile, and Mexico hosted recruitment events. In Costa Rica, the EmpleaNorte event in San Carlos offered 400 vacancies across multiple sectors. Chile’s SENCE launched the Tour del Empleo, a circuit of 23 fairs in the O’Higgins region to address a 10.8% unemployment rate. Mexico scheduled a National Employment Fair for Vulnerable Groups in San Francisco de Campeche.

By mid-October, the scope of regional events expanded. Colombia scheduled a mega-employment fair in Marinilla with over 1,200 vacancies, while Costa Rica planned a youth-focused job fair in Escazú. Additional specialized events were noted, including a pet exhibition in Chile and various commerce, gastronomic, and health fairs in Spain.
