Regional authorities in Mexico are organizing various job fairs to connect citizens with formal employment opportunities. 

In late August 2026, initiatives were announced in Huixquilucan, which planned to host 120 companies offering over 1,000 vacancies, and in Cuautla, where the “Plan Cuautla” aimed to provide over 400 vacancies to local youth. 

By early September, employment events expanded to other regions. An event in Ecatepec hosted approximately 700 attendees and featured major companies such as Grupo Femsa, Kimberly Clark, and Jumex. Additionally, the government announced an agricultural job fair in Ometepec, Guerrero, scheduled for September 7, which aims to offer more than 200 vacancies through various private entities and security forces.
