Various cultural, outdoor, and community activities are scheduled across different French regions during October.

In early October, the Touraine and Maine-et-Loire regions hosted several events, including the 10th anniversary of the Concerts d’Automne festival in Tours and celebrations at the La Parenthèse de Ballan-Miré cultural center. Nature-focused activities such as biodiversity workshops, night hikes, and illuminated trails were also organized.

By late October, community activities shifted toward local markets and sporting events. In Maine-et-Loire, flea markets and garage sales were held in Saumur and Longué-Jumelles. Meanwhile, in Saône-et-Loire, regional football matches for both men and women took place across various leagues.
