Regional motorsport competitions continue across Italy. In mid-October, the Super-CIVM Championship moved to its penultimate round in Sardinia with the 64th Alghero-Scala Piccada hill climb. The event features a 5,100-meter course on the S.S. 292. Top competitors include 20-time Italian hill climb champion Simone Faggioli, Mirko Torsellini, and Franco Caruso. The event also includes a classic category featuring drivers such as Giorgio Davoli.

Simultaneously, AC Racing Technology expanded its presence across Sardinia and Tuscany. In Tuscany, the team scheduled competition at the Mugello circuit with drivers Daniele Carminati and Alberto Cioffi. In Alghero, the team’s roster includes Alessio Cuccheddu, Marco Ballerini, and Rosario Parrino, while 17-year-old Mattia Abate is set for a Racing Weekend debut.

The Alghero-Scala Piccata weekend commenced with Saturday practice sessions and a parade organized by AC Sassari, which provided ACI members a preview of the track. Race Director Fabrizio Fondacci noted the competition’s unique scenic natural setting.
