In September 2026, the Irpinia region of Italy hosted several events focused on viticulture, local culture, and regional excellence.

Early in the month, the Consorzio di Tutela Vini d’Irpinia organized a program for 15 international wine ambassadors. The four-day event included technical visits to production sites within the Fiano di Avellino DOCG, Greco di Tufo DOCG, and Taurasi DOCG areas to showcase local wine denominations and the territory's cultural identity.

Later in the month, the region held multiple award ceremonies. The Premio Due Principati 2026 was awarded to the Mayor of Bagnoli Irpino for tourism development, and the Premio Nazionale ‘Eccellenze Irpine’ 2026 was held to honor individuals who have promoted the history and community of the Irpinia area through various professional fields.
