In late October 2026, Murcia hosted the Fiesta del Deporte, an event organized by the Murcia City Council featuring over 60 free activities including workshops and competitions aimed at inclusive sports.

Following this, the Community of Madrid scheduled the 26th edition of Science and Innovation Week for November 16 to 29, 2026. The program includes over one thousand free activities across universities, museums, and research centers. Specific locations such as Tres Cantos will focus on science communication through astronomy and artificial intelligence, while Torrejón de Ardoz will host workshops and laboratory tours at the National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) campus. Themes for this year include mental health and the 40th anniversary of Spain’s entry into the European Union.
