Regional sports developments across Slovakia and the Czech Republic continue to evolve across various disciplines, including basketball, football, volleyball, handball, and ice hockey.

In Slovakia, MBK Ružomberok is preparing for a Tipos extraliga basketball match following a victory against Trenčín, while MFK Ružomberok B remains undefeated in the 3. liga Central group. VK ONE Ružomberok is preparing for a new volleyball season, and Iuventa Michalovce is hosting youth handball competitions. In the MONACObet league, ŠTK Šamorín has moved from relegation struggles to second place in the standings.

In the Czech Republic, 1. SC Znojmo FK is preparing for a football derby against Sokol Tasovice, currently playing home matches in Pohořelice due to stadium issues.

Recent ice hockey results show HC Vítkovice Ridera suffering a fifth consecutive loss in the Czech Extraliga, falling 1:3 at home to Banes Motor České Budějovice. Other Czech Extraliga matches saw Třinec defeat Mladá Boleslav 3:0, Sparta Praha win 2:0 against Plzeň, and Energie Karlovy Vary secure a 5:0 victory over Olomouc.

In the Slovak Tipsport SHL, Vlci Žilina defeated HKM Zvolen 3:2. Following the match, Zvolen coach Marek Zadina noted that while the team is working hard, they are struggling with power plays and a lack of scoring luck, which has led to “difficult morale in the locker room.”
