Various regional and community-led vocational training initiatives have been launched across Mexico, Uruguay, and El Salvador to promote entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.

In Mexico, programs such as “Aprende y Emprende” in Coahuila and “Sabadito Emprendedor” in Chihuahua provide free workshops in fields ranging from mechanics and plumbing to jewelry making and soap production. These efforts involve collaborations between local, state, and federal government entities to strengthen family economies.

Similarly, in Uruguay, the Social Development Directorate in Salto has introduced pizza-making workshops to provide vocational tools and community exchange. In El Salvador, the ‘Sembrando Esperanza’ initiative organized piñata-making workshops for over 400 women to help them develop skills for starting small businesses and generating family income.
