The film Romanchakam, produced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s production house, experienced a difficult theatrical release in early September. Despite being promoted as a youthful comedy, the film struggled to attract large audiences and faced social media trolling due to underwhelming performance and ordinary word-of-mouth.

Following its theatrical run, which received mixed reviews regarding writing and characterization, the film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 1. The streaming release will be available in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi—to achieve pan-Indian reach.
