The Bollywood film ‘Suryaa’, a remake of the 2018 Malayalam crime thriller ‘Joseph’, is scheduled for theatrical release on November 20, 2026. Directed by M. Padmakumar, the project stars Sunny Deol in an intense role.

Following the initial unveiling of a motion poster featuring Deol in a rugged appearance, a teaser for ‘Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak’ was released. The footage depicts Deol as a retired police officer investigating a crime following the death of his ex-wife. The narrative is expected to address themes of systemic injustice, corruption, and medical system failures. While the film has drawn interest due to the lead actor’s transformation, some social media commentary has noted its status as an adaptation of an existing title.
