Director Paul Thomas Anderson has produced a concert documentary titled ‘Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall’, which captures a solo piano performance by the frontman of the band Geese. The performance originally took place at the historic venue on December 11, 2025. The film utilizes 16mm and 35mm film, following rumors that Anderson and Benny Safdie used Panavision equipment for the shoot. Rather than relying on interviews or biographical introductions, the documentary focuses on the musical performance and ambient sounds of the event, serving as a visual chronicle of the landmark musical moment. On October 11, 2026, Cameron Winter released his first live album, ‘Live at Carnegie Hall’. The recording features solo piano arrangements of tracks from his debut solo album, ‘Heavy Metal’, as well as three previously unreleased songs: ‘It All Fell In The River’, ‘Emperor XIII In Shades’, and ‘If You Turn Back Now’. The album highlights a shift toward a more mature, reflective style centered around the piano, noting that Winter became one of the youngest solo performers to take the main stage at the venue. The concert film, which was co-produced by Benny Safdie and recently premiered at the New York Film Festival, is scheduled for a limited theatrical release starting November 20, 2026. The release will span various historic cinemas across the United States and Canada, including cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago, with specific mentions of the Aero in Los Angeles and the Castro in San Francisco. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-13: Cameron Winter releases ‘Live at Carnegie Hall’ concert album Cameron Winter has released ‘Live at Carnegie Hall’, a solo concert album documenting his historic performance at the legendary venue.
