Faroese singer-songwriter Eivør Pálsdóttir has released her twelfth studio album, titled ‘Tungl’, which translates to ‘moon’ in Faroese. This project marks her first release with Nuclear Blast Records, in collaboration with Shinigami Records.

The ten-track album blends trip-hop, neofolk, avant-garde pop, and electronica, drawing inspiration from Nordic landscapes and medieval Faroese chain-dance rituals. The music explores themes of change, uncertainty, and cycles, utilizing Eivør’s wide vocal range and primarily Faroese lyrics. The release is accompanied by a music video for the opening track, ‘Og Mánin Græt / And The Moon Cried’.
