The science fiction action thriller ‘Onslaught’ (Aniquilación), directed by Adam Wingard and produced by A24, was scheduled for release in Mexican theaters via Cinépolis Distribución in late October.

Starring Adria Arjona as Celeste, an ex-military sniper, the film follows a character attempting to live a quiet life in an isolated desert community until genetically modified supersoldiers escape from a secret military facility. The plot involves Celeste using her combat skills to protect her family from these threats. The film features an ensemble cast including Dan Stevens, Drew Starkey, Alex Pereira, Michael Biehn, Rebecca Hall, and Reginald VelJohnson. Critics have highlighted the film’s visceral violence, high-impact combat sequences, and dynamic editing, noting potential risks for viewers with photosensitivity.
