Windup, a Swedish studio, announced its upcoming cooperative adventure game, ‘Hela: of Mice & Magic’. Set in a fantasy world inspired by Scandinavian folklore, the game allows up to four players to control mice assisting an ill witch through various environments, including forests, meadows, swamps, and underground tunnels. Players utilize a magical backpack to interact with the environment, solve puzzles, and leverage realistic physics.

The title is scheduled for release on December 1, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. An exclusive digital version will also be available for Xbox Series S.

In conjunction with the launch, Knights Peak and Microids will release a physical ‘Harmony Edition’ collector’s version in the fourth quarter of 2026 for the United States and Europe. This edition will include a physical disc, a digital soundtrack, a 48-page artbook, a reversible world map poster, and exclusive stickers. While the Harmony Edition supports consoles, versions for PC and Xbox Series S will remain digital-only.
