Fuji TV’s political heist drama ‘Political Pan’ premiered on October 7. Written by Akiko Nogi and starring Satomi Ishihara as phantom thief Yayoi Kisaragi, the series follows Kisaragi as she infiltrates the political sphere of the fictional nation Nipponia to reclaim illicit ‘dark political money’.

The production reunites Ishihara and Nogi for the first time in approximately eight years since ‘Unnatural’. The cast features Atsuro Watabe as an informant, Yuumi Kawai as Miyabi Kobayakawa, and Issei Takahashi. Following its broadcast, the series is scheduled for both domestic and international distribution on Netflix.
