Amazon MGM Studios has released the official trailer for ‘Madden’, a biographical sports comedy directed by David O. Russell. The film stars Nicolas Cage as NFL legend John Madden and Christian Bale as Raiders owner Al Davis.

The narrative chronicles Madden’s career, beginning with his coaching tenure with the Oakland Raiders and their 1977 Super Bowl XI victory, before exploring his transition into sports broadcasting and his role in creating the ‘Madden NFL’ video game franchise alongside Trip Hawkins (played by John Mulaney). 

Supporting cast members include Kathryn Hahn as Virginia Madden, Sienna Miller as Carol Davis, Shane Gillis, and Joel Murray as Pat Summerall. The film is scheduled for a limited theatrical release on November 11, 2026, followed by a global streaming launch on Prime Video on November 18, 2026.
