Developments: 4. The tvN romance thriller K-drama ‘Love in Disguise’ premiered on October 19 via tvN and Prime Video. Adapted from a web novel and webtoon, the series is described as a romantic comedy thriller. The plot centers on Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer turned violent crimes detective, played by Seol In Ah. To investigate a murder linked to the Taegang Group, she applies for a male-only personal secretary position, concealing both her gender and her profession to get closer to the suspect, Yoon Yi Jun (played by Yim Si Wan). Yoon is portrayed as an arrogant, perfectionist third-generation chaebol heir and a primary suspect in the death of his secretary. The story explores the tension between Jae Hee’s role as a detective and her position as an employee, noting that her bold and unconventional methods often catch the heir off guard. As the investigation progresses, the drama blends suspense with romance as the undercover detective navigates her mission while developing feelings for the suspect. The supporting cast includes Choi Jin Ho as Taegang Group chairman Yoon Tae Sik, alongside Hong Eun Hee, Park Ah In, Kim In Kwon, Kim Ki Bang, and Nam Hae Jun. Additionally, Kim Jung-hyun plays Kim Si-hyun, an attorney and confidant to Yoon Yi-jun within the Taegang Group legal team. ## Claims - “Love in Disguise” is available for streaming on Prime Video.
