The supernatural horror film ‘Lockbox’ (A Caixa do Demônio), directed by Daniel Stamm and starring Carla Gugino, is scheduled for a theatrical release in Brazil on October 22, 2026. Distributed by Diamond Films, the movie is inspired by an episode of the ‘Knifepoint Horror’ podcast.

The plot centers on Ellen, a woman who moves to the town of Pontiac following her mother’s death and takes in her cousin Winthrop, an Army veteran with a troubled past. As inexplicable and supernatural events occur, Ellen must investigate whether Winthrop is being targeted by a mysterious force or if the events are tied to his psychological trauma.
